I’ve never been the type of person who walks past a problem and does nothing. As a mom, small business owner, and your city council member for the last six years, I care deeply about this community. For fifteen years, I’ve served on our Social Services, Parks, and Child Protection boards. When times got tough—through COVID and working hand-in-hand with first responders during Hurricane Helene—I stayed right here to serve you. I’m running to bring that hands-on experience to our future. Together, we can responsibly manage growth, address affordable housing using my experience co-chairing our Strategic Housing Committee, and support our police and firefighters with the pay they deserve. By partnering with local industry, we can expand opportunities so our kids can succeed right here at home. I’m ready to keep working for you.
My focus is on the real issues that affect our daily lives here at home. If elected, my top priority will be public safety, working to ensure we have safer streets and neighborhoods for all of our families. As we move forward, we must manage our growth responsibly so we can protect our unique community character. I will also advocate for greenway and park expansion, ensuring we have beautiful outdoor spaces to enjoy. Most importantly, I am fully committed to keeping our taxes low. We can build a safer, stronger community while remaining financially responsible with your hard-earned money.
